Visa Update

Seems that everyone is waiting for the actual card to be in hand. We have not heard from anyone that has actually received their visa.

We were called in to the INM office via the Internet last Friday. Today is Constitution Day (First Monday in February).  The first of these anniversaries was February 5th, 1917.

We understand government offices will be closed tomorrow too. So Wednesday we will return to the INM office and see what transpires on the continuing saga.

In the mean time here is my favorite sunset photo from last week at Charlie’s. Everything was in the right place – as if the sea, the sky, the clouds, the sand, the sun and the seagulls all collaborated to produce a fine photo – ENJOY!

    One of my first stops yesterday was the post office — to catch up on six weeks of missed mail. Closed. I just need to be patient until Wednesday.

    I am awaiting your visa news. My process starts in just a few weeks.

    Will know more Wednesday. We have bot paid the fee or had finger printing – those appear to be the last of the process. We have friends that have made it past that and are STILL waiting for a card.

    Although similar layout, your header image stares in stark contrast to mine! Although sun & surf sure look fun, I can’t say I’m sick of snow yet. Time to ski and skate :) Good luck, on getting the visa.

    Yes well you and yours are MUCH younger than me ;-) One day you might crave nothing but sun as we do. In the mean time enjoy the slopes.
